DS Sure Shipping

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by DS Sure Shipping, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

DS Sure Shipping provides courier and logistics services including but not limited to:

Shipping services from the United States to Jamaica via air or sea freight.

Access to a tax-exempt US shipping address for online purchases.

Amazon Prime support for customers placing orders through Amazon.com.

Online shopping assistance services for customers who require help placing orders.

Package warehousing, handling, and shipment coordination.

Pickup services in Portmore and Downtown Montego Bay.

Delivery services within Portmore and surrounding areas.

Delivery services within Montego Bay for an additional fee.

Delivery via third-party courier services where applicable.

DS Sure Shipping reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at its discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

DS Sure Shipping processes shipments regularly; however, all shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, carrier schedules, inspections, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

4. Service Areas

DS Sure Shipping currently offers services in the following locations:

Portmore

Downtown Montego Bay

Delivery within the Portmore area is free of charge. Delivery within Montego Bay is available at a $500 delivery fee.

Delivery outside these areas may be facilitated through third-party courier services at the customer’s expense.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

DS Sure Shipping assumes limited liability for loss, damage, delay, or errors related to shipments.

Responsibility begins when a package is received at our US warehouse or by our team and ends once the package is delivered, collected, or handed over to third-party carriers.

DS Sure Shipping is not responsible for:

Vendor errors

Incorrect information provided by customers

Packages lost or misdelivered prior to reaching our warehouse

Delays, losses, or damages caused by third-party carriers

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

DS Sure Shipping is not responsible for damage caused by improper or insufficient packaging by vendors, senders, or customers.

Fragile items including electronics, glass, liquids, cosmetics, or breakable goods are shipped entirely at the owner's risk.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must ensure all shipments comply with Jamaican laws and international shipping regulations.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

Illegal drugs or controlled substances

Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

Explosives, flammable, or hazardous materials

Counterfeit or replica goods

Pornographic or obscene materials

Perishable foods

Live animals

Cash, cheques, or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited item may be confiscated or surrendered to authorities without refund. DS Sure Shipping assumes no liability for seizures, fines, or penalties.

8. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are responsible for all customs declarations, duties, taxes, and government fees imposed by Jamaican Customs.

Items exceeding USD $100 in value may attract customs duty charges.

DS Sure Shipping assumes no liability for customs inspections, delays, or seizures.

9. Shopping Assistance Service

DS Sure Shipping offers a shopping assistance service for customers who require help purchasing items online.

Full payment must be deposited before orders are placed.

Customers must confirm item details before purchase.

Once an order has been placed on behalf of a customer, payments are generally non-refundable.

DS Sure Shipping is not responsible for vendor errors, shipping delays, incorrect items, sizing issues, or product quality.

All refund or exchange matters remain between the customer and the vendor.

10. Payments

Accepted payment methods may include cash, bank transfer, or other approved digital payment options.

All payments must be settled before packages are released or delivered. Payments are generally non-refundable once shipment processing begins.

11. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of package notification or delivery.

Supporting documentation such as invoices and photographs may be required.

WhatsApp or social media messages do not constitute official claims unless acknowledged by DS Sure Shipping.

12. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Packages not collected within 15 days of notification will incur a $500 storage fee.

Packages remaining uncollected for extended periods may be donated, disposed of, or otherwise handled to recover storage and administrative costs. Customers remain responsible for outstanding charges.

13. Cancellations

Cancellations must be requested prior to scheduled services where applicable. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the stage of shipment processing.

DS Sure Shipping reserves the right to cancel services at its discretion.

14. Amendments

DS Sure Shipping reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between DS Sure Shipping and its customers regarding the services provided.
